SCRIPT SYNOPSIS

In a not-too-distant future where Texas secedes from the Union and declares that childless women over 35 must be euthanized, four trapped career-driven city gals flee to a remote ranch in Nowhere, Texas. Off the grid and on each other’s nerves, can these women find the balls to survive in a world that wants them dead?

WHY THIS STORY?

Women's voices remain grossly underrepresented in film and TV. (Duh.)
So, SADDLE UP, Y’ALL — these women are gonna make some noise... especially since politicians are practically square dancing
on our uteruses!

Our story sparks dialogue about
losing our rights to bodily autonomy. A depressing topic -- but humor can come from the darkest places. Laughter is the Great Connector and people who smile more have a longer life expectancy... hence why this is a kickin’ comedy! LADY KINGS OF TEXAS will challenge and inspire women to take up space and reclaim their voices.

Our four badass main characters -- just like the all-female team creating them -- embody how women can (must) unite to tackle the major challenges ahead.

The end goal? Women feel seen & heard when watching this movie, you laugh so hard you piss your pants, and then all of us go straight to the polls!

(...But maybe change your pants first.).
