Both thriller and satire, the film celebrates women’s resilience, wit, and collective defiance in the face of erasure.
As it imagines the chilling consequences of America’s tightening grip on women’s bodily autonomy, our film also explores the power of sisterhood in the form of four bold, complex women learning to see one another more clearly and rediscover their strength together. Hidden deep in the Texas wilderness of the near future, four women live off the grid, fugitives in a state that has turned against them: Loiza, a hardened survivalist; Cassidy, an influencer separated from her followers; Eleanor, their idealistic ringleader; and Kendra, an activist haunted by loss. When a stranger claiming to be an ally appears, their fragile refuge splinters. With bounty hunters closing in, the women must fight to survive—and face the secrets that tore them apart years ago.
