Erin Brown Thomas is an award-winning director, writer, and producer who creates “traumedies” – emotionally-charged dramedies that disguise deep pathos beneath sharp humor. Her single-shot pilot Chasers made history as the first narrative project accepted into both Sundance and Slamdance; it also screened at SXSW Sydney and won Best TV at HollyShorts. She recently served on the producing team of The Singers (2026), an Academy Award–winning film that premiered at SXSW and Tribeca and screened at Clermont-Ferrand. Erin was named an Artist in Residence at Palm Springs ShortFest, won a juried award at Cinequest, and screened at AMPAV at Cannes. Her feature script The Body of Chris was a Nicholl Fellowship Semifinalist, and she will soon direct And Also With You, supported by a Mark Duplass grant. Giovannie is an operatically trained, multi-talented Puerto Rican artist based in Dallas, Texas. She can be seen shining in big-budget hits such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol: 3 (Marvel), Reminiscence (Warner Bros.) across from Hugh Jackman, and Superman across from Nicholas Hoult (Warner Bros/DC). She has worked with acclaimed indie filmmakers David Lowery, Lisa Joy-Nolan, and Joe Lynch; recently appeared in Eddie Murphy’s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F (Netflix); and can be seen on TV shows such as Queen of the South (USA), NCIS: New Orleans (CBS), and Queen Sugar (OWN). Giovannie is a fan-favorite anime voice actor at Sony's Crunchyroll Productions.
Elisabeth is an award-winning filmmaker and actor. The Yale alumna's work has been reviewed as "especially funny” (New York Times), "razor-sharp" (Washington Post), and "hilarious" (Times Herald-Record). She was honored with selection into Take the Lead’s “50 Women Can Change the World in Media & Entertainment” fellowship, and was their 2025 winner of "The Maximizer" Award for her work on the feature film Lady Kings of Texas. Onscreen appearances include Sara on Bull (CBS), Stella on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel(Amazon), FBI (CBS), and Daredevil (Marvel). She recently recurred on Lady in the Lake (AppleTV+) with Natalie Portman, and filmed a scene opposite Kelsey Grammer in Like Father (Netflix). Among the 65+ projects she’s produced, Elisabeth created the hit digital comedy series Redheads Anonymous; featured in USA Today, Huffington Post, and Tubefilter, it garnered dozens of awards and nominations at festivals worldwide.

Beth Napoli is an award-winning Los Angeles–based cinematographer whose work spans narrative features, commercials, and branded content for clients including Apple, Zeiss, Red Digital Cinema, and Hyundai. Recent credits include the feature Rally Caps (directed by Lee Cipolla; starring Judd Hirsch and Amy Smart), and the ambitious single-shot TV pilot Chasers, which premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Her work has been seen at Camerimage, Cannes Emerging Filmmakers Showcase, SXSW Sydney, Newport Beach Film Festival, and Palm Springs ShortFest. She won Catalyst’s Outstanding Cinematography Award, and received the Pathfinder Award; previous recipients include Barry Jenkins. Next, Beth is slated to lens two features directed by Cate Carson.
Chelsea Taylor is a New York-based independent film editor working across scripted features, documentaries and television. Her feature credits include Snakehead (TIFF), Milkwater (Best Narrative Feature at Bushwick Film Festival, and Best Screenplay at Brooklyn Film Festival), and The Floaters (Bentonville). She was an editor on Lena Headey’s directorial debut The Trap starring Michelle Fairley; Paramount’s Alieu the Dreamer which won BET’s Project Cre8; and served as an associate editor on Bubble & Squeak, which premiered at Sundance 2025. Her short films have premiered at Tribeca (Let Liv); SXSW and Berlinale (Tangles & Knots); and Aspen Shortsfest (Golden Child). She is drawn to character-driven stories and brings a collaborative, story-first approach to every project.
Katherine Dudas co-wrote, directed, and edited the feature film Juniper, which premiered at the prestigious Santa Barbara International Film Festival and received rave reviews and several offers for distribution. Juniper was acquired by STX Entertainment and sold to Showtime and Paramount+. Katherine's work has been featured on Whohaha, Funny or Die, Reductress, and Bustle. She's performed in comedy shows Off-Broadway and on a team at Upright Citizens Brigade. Her digital comedy show has over half a million views; her second feature film is currently in post-production. Coming from an improv comedy background, she is dedicated to telling heartfelt and truthful stories through a comedic lens. Her Lady Kings of Texas script recently made it to the 2nd round of Austin Film Festival’s Screenplay Competition - an honor only 20% of submissions receive! Her most recent feature, Theatre is Dead, starring Shane West, premiered at Fantastic Fest in 2025.


Elena Weinberg is a Los Angeles–based, Austin-bred Line Producer, 1st AD, and Production Coordinator with over a decade of experience spanning branded content, scripted narrative, and independent features. In Austin, she co-founded TurtleDove Films and produced more than a dozen shorts, a web series, and the feature A Room Full of Nothing, which premiered at the Austin Film Festival and was distributed by 1091 Pictures. In Los Angeles, Elena spent four years at goodr sunglasses as the lead producer for their in-house content team, overseeing hundreds of commercial and branded shoots and streamlining workflows for photo and video content. Recent freelance credits include work with BET Entertainment, NBCUniversal, Wallybird Productions, Veteran Made Productions, and a range of emerging indie directors. She is also developing her first feature screenplay and remains active as a script reader, SXSW and Cucalorus festival screener, and event manager for ATX TV Festival.
Krystal is a New York-based actor, filmmaker, and theatre maker. Notable credits include the Off-Broadway premiere of House of McQueen (with Luke Newton and Emily Skinner) and TFANA’s Public Workshops of Henry IV and Richard II. Krystal has worked extensively with world-class directors, serving as rehearsal cover for Sam Mendes’ The Hills of California on Broadway and as a company ensemble member of Krymov Lab NYC under the direction of internationally acclaimed director, Dmitry Krymov. Her film work includes projects for the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival. Krystal is currently developing her second feature film and a new stage adaptation of Ibsen’s Rosmersholm. Ed Nescot is the co-founder of Good Porpoise Productions, the head of Ventana Productions' New York office, and an FAA-licensed drone pilot. His two decades of shooting, editing, and producing documentaries, narrative shorts, and broadcast TV segments around the world have earned him multiple NY Emmy nominations, as well as Telly, Aurora, Videographer, Aegis, Clarion, and New York Festival awards. Always up for adventure as a video journalist, Ed has scuba dived with tiger sharks in Bimini; experienced Zero Gravity aboard the “Vomit Comet”; worked the red carpet with stars such as Scarlett Johansson, Brian Cox, and Steve Carell; made visual music with virtuosos Joshua Bell, Marvin Hamlisch, and Wycleff Jean; captured conversations with luminaries like Steven Spielberg, Hillary Clinton, and Henry Kissinger; trekked along the Moroccan coastline with the Peace Corps; and even scrubbed in for brain surgery. He was the Director of Photography for the critically-acclaimed digital series Redheads Anonymous. Possibly related: he married one.
James Redondo is an actor and photographer in Central Texas. Born and raised in Austin, he found his love for film, theater, and photography at a young age. He is excited to work with this team and help bring this film to life. He's studied under Carol Hickey and Kim Jackson Davis at Carol Hickey Acting Studio in Austin, Texas, and is repped by Bankston Talent Agency.

Joe Lee is a line producer and on-set producer. He has worked in various departments such as production office, travel, location, and accounting prior to his transition into producing. Having worked as an IT professional and a photographer in his previous life, Joe is also quite adept at solving problems with creative solutions while keeping cost and logistic limitations in mind. Do be advised that he seems to have an almost unhealthy affection when it comes to spreadsheets. Joe Lee produced and line produced the feature films "The Relic: Dragon" and "Tiny, Texas", both of which are scheduled to be released in 2026. His previous work credit includes Alita:Battle Angel, Fear the Walking Dead, and Spy Kids:Armageddon. As a producer, Joe's favorite words are "free" and "no." His non-negotiables are "no a-holes on set" and "safety first." His favorite films are Memento, Before Sunset, and the ones he's working on right now."


Amanda is a Washington, DC–based multimedia producer specializing in social-first video and digital storytelling. A two-time Emmy Award–winning producer, she worked on Get Out of Town and Signature Dish for WETA, Washington DC’s PBS affiliate, before launching her own multimedia business. She leads social media strategy and video production for independent projects and brands, including the Lady Kings of Texas. Her personal TikTok has amassed 1.8 million likes and over 12 million views. Known for her strong leadership and quick wit, Amanda thrives both on location and online.

Based out of Chicago, Illinois, Emma Terrazas is a multi-hyphenate, Mexican-American actress, creator, and entrepreneur dedicated to shining light on unique narratives that challenge societal norms and landscapes. Emma's credits include NBC's Chicago Med and Chicago PD, Rainbeau's End, Lana and Emmy (the web series & short film), and more. On stage, she portrays Queen Sara written and directed by Richard Gallion at Chicago's APC Theatre. She is also the founder of EMpower Training, where she provides health and confidence coaching for business owners and creatives.

Natalie Joy is an actor, filmmaker and musician based in Austin, Texas. She enjoys a budding on-camera career, appearing in Richard Linklater's Apollo 10 & 1/2 now streaming on Netflix as well as commercial campaigns for Micheal's, Anytime Fitness, Domino's, and more. Natalie is an award-winning full lyric soprano, described as a "superb soprano" by Broadway World for her latest theatrical performance in The Baker's Wife with the Alchemy Theatre. Her short film, Cause of Death, has been shown at several local screenings, where she served as writer, producer, and director. Natalie is excited to join the Lady Kings of Texas team as an Associate Producer on such a fun and timely project!

Katy Wicker is a Los Angeles–based producer and production manager with a diverse portfolio spanning independent narrative film, short-form projects, and creative marketing. Originally from Houston, Texas, she holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and has built a dynamic career in the entertainment industry since relocating to Los Angeles.Most recently, Katy produced the short film Balloon Animals, which was selected for the Short Film Program at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. The film’s inclusion in Sundance highlights her ongoing engagement with the independent film community and her commitment to supporting distinctive voices and bold storytelling.

Melinda Marroquin is an award-winning filmmaker, screenwriter, director, and producer based in Austin, Texas. Born and raised in Mission, Texas, she was introduced to the world of film and theater at an early age. At just seven years old, she made her on-screen debut in the 1977 feature She Came to the Valley, sparking a lifelong passion for storytelling. Throughout her early career, Marroquin appeared in numerous films (Wayne's World 2, Sister Act 2, Strange Days, The Newton Boys) and television movies (True Women, The People Next Door), but her transition behind the camera is where she truly found her voice. Working as a 2nd Assistant Director (Switch Up, Esther’s Diary, Secret at Arrow Lake, Missionary Man, Inspector Mom, The Insatiable) and Production Coordinator (Circle of Pain, The Sno Cone Stand, Waking Dreams, Harvest of Redemption), she developed a deep understanding of the craft and production process laying the groundwork for her emergence as a director. A passionate advocate for women and Latinx voices in film, Marroquin is also an active member of the Austin Film Society, Austin/All Entertainment Business, and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP). She frequently appears as a guest judge and panelist at festivals such as CineSol, Cine Las Americas, South Texas International Film Festival, and Ethereal Horror Fest. Marroquin currently has three original projects in development that she owns: a Vietnam war hero biopic, a historical limited television series set during the Mexican Revolution, and a hilarious, raunchy female-led feature comedy.

Olivia Helaine is a NYC-based actress and producer originally from Connecticut. Her work as an actor has been featured on CBS, Lifetime, and various short and feature films over the years. Her Sketch Comedy group “Dad?” performs at Second City NYC monthly and her production company, Penny In The Sky Productions, just wrapped its first short film! Thomas Shuman is a Massachusetts-born, New York-based actor, writer, and (first-time) producer. He couldn’t have asked for a better team to work alongside than the Lady Kings! He recently appeared in Eklektika Productions’ Cassandra, the American premiere of a Ukrainian adaptation of the Trojan War story. He’s also appeared in short films featured in The Big Apple Film Festival, New York Shorts International Film Festival, Meliora Film Festival, and Austin Revolution Film Festival! He (friends and family agree) would not last a day on a ranch. He is a graduate of The Stella Adler Studio of Acting’s 3-Year Conservatory Program.
Emrys Erica Beauchamp is a mixed-heritage American stage, film, and television actress from New Jersey. A multidisciplinary artist, writer, filmmaker, and yogi, her work is guided by a lifelong devotion to art, movement, and spiritual inquiry. After several successful careers as an entrepreneur, she arrived in film as an adult, bringing depth, presence, and a richly lived perspective to her storytelling.


Molly is a multi-faceted artist and native Texan, who proudly calls the Tony Award-winning Dallas Theater Center her artistic home. In addition to being a member of DTC’s Brierley Resident Acting Company, Molly has graced the stages as a leading lady of many other renowned companies, like Alley Theatre, Houston Symphony, Arena Stage, and Stages Repertory Theatre. Never to be put in one box, Molly is also a prolific voice actress with AMC Networks/Sentai Filmworks, SONY’s Crunchyroll, and Microsoft. Trang Quỳnh Thị Vũ is a Vietnamese spoken word artist and filmmaker based in Arlington, Texas. She has three published works: Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso (2021); Poetree of Life (2023); and thirty circles (2024). An apprentice of Pegasus Media Project, she has worked on several short films and corporate & commercial work.

Julia Macneva is a Latvian-born Russian polyglot (English, French, Russian, Latvian, Turkish), entrepreneur, actor, writer, and producer. Her business, MoodBoard Concierge is a bespoke luxury lifestyle management firm that provides private shopping & event planning services, among others. Past experiences include being Director of Sales & Operations at Bernardaud (New York) and an in-demand personal shopper and stylist for VIPs & celebrities at Harrods (London). Fun Fact: it was in one of these roles that Jula selected the porcelain tableware for HBO's The Gilded Age! Her most recent film projects include production assistant on the award-winning indie short Prime Real Estate, stylist and set decorator on The Bird Watcher a short film currently in post-production, and voice actor on Aghast!, a feature debuting soon.
